I’m back, from outer space! Err, yeah. Nine days without an internet connection makes Ercles act weird(er). Blog feeds on my phone kept me from going completely bonkers. But I’m back now, blogging and playing. And what a surprise I got when I logged on. In my mailbox there was a letter from Tam inviting me and Wulfy to a bloggers community guild, Single Abstract Noun.
The introduction post on our forums reads
Single Abstract Noun is a blogging-communities guild on Argent Dawn (EU and US), in World of Warcraft. The EU Chaper is Horde, the US Alliance.
You don’t have to keep a blog to join – if you’re part of the blogging community in any way, shape or form, as a writer, reader, lurker, tourist, occasional visitor, you’re very welcome to join us.
You don’t have to leave your current guild to join, or abandon any aspect of your in-game life. Roll up an alt on Argent Dawn, and come talk to us. Level if you want, or don’t, visit us as often as you like, or as rarely, spend an afternoon, or ten minutes before you’re raid.
You can have as many alts in the guild as you like and, of course, you’re welcome transfer characters if you like.
You can find the forums here. There is already a couple of events planned in the coming weeks. If you’d like to pop by to say hello, just whisper anyone in the guild for an invite. Everyone is more than welcome.
And wow, do bloggers and readers talk. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a guild chat as active or amusing. I regularly find my self standing around The Barrens having completely forgotten about the quest I was supposed to be doing and reading guild chat instead. The guild couldn’t have popped up at a better time considering my recent raid burn out.
So come on over to Argent Dawn and Single Abstract Noun and join the fun!
